Ralph Green will be teaching how to turn with carbide tools. His specialty is turning lighted Nativity ornaments and other unique designed ornaments. He also turns square bowls and offset turnings.

He started turning in high school shop class in 1971 and then picked it back up in 2015 when he went to the extravaganza and got reintroduced to it and got hooked. He and his Wife Dot both turn and enjoy teaching and helping others to turn.

Ralph was in the Marine Corps for 6 years and served as Crew chief on Marine One presidential helicopter. He then went to work for the airlines and retired from USAIR in 2007. He also had a Motorcycle shop for 20 years that he retired from in January 2019. So he works part time at Klingspor woodworking and has a lot more time to turn and gardening which is another of his passions.
